Classroom Rules

 

Student Responsibilities

1. Come to class prepared to work each day.  This means you must have your binder (filled with loose-leaf   & graph paper), textbook, workbook, pencil, calculator and homework (in marble notebook).

2. Keep track of your own books, assignments, and supplies.

3. Start work on time and follow directions.

4. Do your best.

5. Make up work and assignments missed due to absences.

6. Accept responsibility for grades and the consequences of your choices.

Severe Clause

Severe inappropriate behavior, such as, fighting, abusive language towards adults, or dangerous use of any object, will result in an administrative referral and appropriate action by the Principal and/or Assistant Principal.

 

Remember, YOU have the power of CHOICE.

You make the choice to follow or break the rules.

 

 

Grading Policy

 

           Averages are computed as a running total:

 

 

 

This means if you get a 7/10 and an 18/20 on two quizzes, an 88 on a test and complete 19 out of 20 homeworks, your grade would be computed like this:

 

 

                                                 

 

             To change 0.88 to a percent, just multiply by 100.  So your average would be 88%

Classroom Rules for Students

1. Students will be in their seats, with their binders open before the bell rings.

2.   Students will behave in a manner that does not distract others.

3.   All assignments must be handed in on time.
